April 29, 2020—Malcolm Gladwell’s 10,000-hour rule seems intimidating, but you can easily make your own path by breaking it into hours per day.

November 2019 — I met Robin (NHRN) at a networking event. We got introduced through a mutual friend and engaged in the usual way — aka smiling vaguely while thinking to ourselves…

“I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing here…at this event or in life. The ship’s going down and there are people in the water but I’m going to pretend like everything’s A-OK.”

The thing is, there was something un-vague about Robin.

She had a game.

It was a drawing challenge where you “solved” various abstract lines by turning them into creative illustrations—and the minute she pulled it out of her bag, my brain switched on.

I felt like the lone operator in a dusty intergalactic command center. Suddenly, there was a blip. And that blip was also alive.
