#345: When Will You Stop Chasing Paychecks and Go Find Your Purpose?

October 23, 2020 — Finding your purpose is not an easy or quick process. But if you’re reluctant because you’ve “got to make money,” guess what? That excuse is never going away.

Purpose is not convenient.

It takes a lot of time and energy.

So the first objection I get is always: “How does purpose help me in the short-term? I’ve got to make money!”

True, but guess what?

There will never be a time in your life when you don’t need to make money — you will ALWAYS have bills and responsibilities and stress.

Which begs the question…

Do you really want to wake up in a retirement home to think: “You guys…I’m ready to find my purpose!”

Tip: Purpose > Paycheck

When I started hardcore brainstorming about who I was and what I wanted to do with my life, I wasn’t “ready.”

I was just a freelancer living paycheck-to-paycheck.

I had maybe 500$ in my bank account.

It didn’t matter.

What mattered was that I stood up and said…
