The problem with psychedelics is that most people are part of a system and unless they isolate themselves, the system will just grind them down again.

I’m fortunate enough to work from home, so I’ve been able to hold onto the insights from my LSD trips, but if you work a 9–5 job you hate (the majority of Americans) it’s difficult to stay positive and mindful.

What we need more than psychedelics is space.

You can’t expect people to research sustainable products or drive less or recycle properly when they’re working fifty hours a week and operating in panic (or depression) mode just to survive.

Automation is replacing workers anyway, so there’s never been a better moment to enact some level of universal basic income and allow people the time and freedom they need to think creatively and change their behaviors.
